HI! WE ARE
Grandma’s Country Kitchen Membership Website is an idea Grandma Beasley had to connect families with children of all ages to form a support system and to learn basic life skills which includes building your fields of dreams and loving your life!
OUR STORY
I think most of us can recall sitting in our Grandma’s kitchen watching her bake bread, cinnamon rolls and smell the yummy aroma of home-made soup. We remember the kitchen as being the center of the home where family/families gathered to enjoy meals and meaningful conversations. This is what Grandma Beasley's Mission is for this website; to create a fun, yet meaningful atmosphere which feels safe for families to talk about anything and everything with each other. From life happenings, peer pressure to cooking, baking, money management, relationship building or writing a book.

Her plan is to have many different age groups join, so we learn from each other. For example, a young Mom could tap into the Forum and ask for advice of a woman who has gone through that stage and learned some great techniques that work, what doesn’t work. I also would love to have grandparents who has raised their children join the membership for an ongoing extended family support system. Parents with children spending their time at home, homeschooling, plus extended family, such as aunts and uncles, cousins, who have time each day to join in on any discussion and help others with advice and support, therefore helping themselves too.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
I love connecting, communicating and collaborating with women, men and children of all ages. I love meeting new people and forming friendships so we can learn from each other. I am a baby-boomer, proud of my Alberta-born and bred ancestry. I was born and raised on a cattle farm and did farm work like driving tractors and other machinery as a young girl. I rode horseback and rounded up our cattle too.
Didn't learn how to cook until I got married and as the years went by, raising our 4 children and being an active volunteer in the community, I began to love baking and cooking basic nutritious meals and feeding my family a healthy variety of food choices.
I love teaching young people basic life skills that will serve them well
for the rest of their lives. Basic Life Skills like cooking, money saving techniques and money management, tips for great relationships, speaking in public, budgeting, preserving and harvesting garden vegetables and wild plants/berries to make teas and lotions.
